The Crystal Documents Utility (CDU) provides a powerful tool for printing, emailing, previewing and exporting multiple documents from an easy-to-use interface.

CDU supports printing of numerous transaction types. It ships with a Maintenance Utility, which enables easy management of documents and control over the availability of documents to specific users for the individual companies they have access to.

Examples of CDU uses:

• Reprinting invoices on a different invoice form
• Producing delivery dockets and invoices at the same time
• Printing multiple copies of forms
• Printing different copies of the same form to different printers or different bins
• Implementing a picking process that can handle unlimited multiple split deliveries
• Selecting different forms to generate from each print event
• Producing picking slips showing only what is not already delivered
• Producing a picking slip and a sales order conformation in the one operation
• Setting up different forms on a company by company basis
• Including custom fields in the body of a document
• Emailing documents (such as purchase orders) in rtf format
• Printing a form to a .PDF printer so it can be emailed as a .PDF attachment
